In 2021, our second year’s school theme was “Love Lives Here.” This ended up very fitting as our “home” was damaged by Hurricane Ida and we were displaced soon after our second year had begun.

We were reminded all year how true this statement was.

Our school’s love for Jesus, and His love for Adolesco Prep, was with us wherever we were. No matter the location. We quickly found refuge. Though our new space was not ideal, we had an excellent year of academics and continued to develop our young culture.

Post-hurricane, we lost several students and teachers to displacement, uncertainty and financial distress. What easily could have been the end of our fledgling school, became the Lord’s opportunity to provide. In addition to our temporary space, we also received the blessing of lower rent. This enabled us to overcome tuition losses hire excellent new teachers to fill the open positions.

Wrapping up our second year, we (accurately) projected 50% growth—so we absolutely needed a bigger space.

Year 3

Over the summer, Jehovah Jireh (“The Lord Will Provide”) answered our prayers. We found our new home at Natalbany Baptist Church where we plan to be for the foreseeable future. They also have a heart to support Christian education. For many reasons, this is a match made in Heaven and we are in awe of how faithful God has been to this school’s endeavor.

We dedicated our third year’s theme “With God, All Things Are Possible,” to honor all He has done for Adolesco Prep. HALLELUJAH!

However, our exponential growth required larger space.

This means, our rent is significantly higher. We still have not reached maximum students per class/grade and are still experiencing typical ministry growing pains.
