Why a Christian education?

Why a Christian education?

Over the past 100 years, most people have been taught that education is neutral, that it merely conveys facts, and that the facts do not require a spiritual context.

We believe that all facts, whether scientific, mathematical, historical, or otherwise, only represent truth fully in the context of a Christian worldview.

There is no neutrality.

For this reason, all of Adolesco Prep’s curriculum is based on biblical truth and taught within a Christian worldview.

We believe there is an objective standard for truth and that standard is found in God’s Word.

“Education is thus a most powerful ally of humanism, and every public school is a school of humanism. What can the theistic Sunday school, meeting for an hour once a week and teaching only a fraction of the children, do to stem the tide of a five-day program of humanistic teaching?”

– Charles Potter, architect of modern American education

What does this mean?

Our Faculty

  • are followers of Jesus and understand discipleship.
  • integrates a biblical perspective throughout all subject areas.
  • are committed to shepherding students’ hearts.

Our Students

  • learn to look at their world through a biblical lens.
  • learn to love and value the things that God values.
  • become capable of defending their faith in a post-Christian world.

Our Parents

  • partner with Adolesco Prep to raise disciples of Christ.
  • are confident their child is spiritually forming in a distinctly Christian environment.
  • have peace that their child is not being educated by secular influences.

At Adolesco Prep, there is unity between God’s creation and science, between God’s order and mathematics, or between Church history and world history.

School subjects and spiritual matters are inseparable.
